Te Awe Māpara is a 5 year MBIE-funded Endeavour research and engagement programme. It is led by Mark Bebbington at Massey University and Graham Leonard at ESI; bringing together researchers from across Aotearoa
to advance volcano observation and volcanic hazard modelling in a changing climate.
Te Awe Māpara as a concept complements rather than translates
the national volcano model component of the programme.
